What will happen to my old, printed photos once they have been digitised?
Old printed photos can be safely stored in labelled archival boxes, which can be kept within a living space in the house.
However, it is important to avoid storing printed photos, slides, and negatives in airtight containers in the loft or garage, as they may begin to degrade due to dampness or mould.
To ensure your precious memories are preserved for years to come, it is best to store them in a cool, dry place with proper ventilation inside the house.
